Austrian artist Alois Arnegger (Alois Arnegger 1879 - 1963).


 
 

Alois Arnegger (Alois Arnegger) - Austrian landscape painter, a master of genre painting, portrait. He was born in Vienna and studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts in P. A. Race and Eisenmenger. Since 1916 - a member of the Vienna Academy, as well as society Albrecht Dürer.

Made a study tour to Austria and the Swiss Alps. Early in his career Arnegger focused on the image of Austrian scenes. He became known as a landscape painter. In 1920 Arnegger visited Italy and was fascinated by its coastal views. Since then, he painted a bright and colorful views of Capri, Naples and Lake Como. However, later after returning to Austria, Arnegger returned to painting Alpine landscape with dramatic lighting. He died in Vienna in 1963.
