Veniamin Nikolayevich Losin


Benjamin was born Nikolaevich Losin in 1931 in Moscow.
In 1950, he graduated from the Moscow Art School, in 1956 - graphic faculty of Moscow State Art Institute Surikov (workshop book by Professor B.A.Dehterёva).
Since 1952 he has been working as an illustrator in publishing "Children's Literature", "Baby", "Soviet Russia", "Young Guard" and others.
Over the years, illustrated the works of Pushkin, Lermontov, Nekrasov, AP Gaydar ("The Tale of the military secret of Malchish-Kibalchish and solid word"), VY .Dragunskogo ("Deniskin stories"), "Russian folk tales" and others.
Total artist illustrated more than 180 works of Russian and world classical literature.
Since 1956 he has participated in national and international exhibitions.
In 1958, admitted to the Union of Artists.
Awarded diplomas to the different degrees of book contests. Participated in exhibitions in collaboration with Eugene Monin, Vladimir Pertsov and Victor Chizhikova.
